How To Paint a Clivia?
Overview -
Clivia (君子兰)is a kind of potted flowers.
It has a stalk ,flowers and leaves. Each plant has only one stalk.
A few leaves grow from the bottom of the root.
Few flowers grow at the top of a stalk. The colour of the flower in bright red.
A good painting of clivia has a sense of elegant.

Painting method –
Using colour paint the picture is straight away painted rather than outlining the picture with black ink first. This is the technique of method of ‘MOGUFA’(没骨法)。
Flowers –
You must paint the petals based on the right perspective of petal with the tone of red colour.
There are two flowers grown on the stalk.
One shows the front view of the flower. There are six pieces of petal.
The other shows the side view of the flower with 4 petals.
Wait for the colour of the flower to dry, then paint the stigma(花蕊) in the centre.

Leaves -
There are three leaves,
Using green colour paint the leaf on the left ,then the leaf on the right.
Finally, paint the central leaf.
Wait for the leaves to dry. Then use black ink to paint the vein on the leaves.
And then modify slightly the whole painting where necessary.
