WHAT IS RED COUPLED ?

, The favorite colour during Chinese New Year is red.
Auspicious Chinese calligraphy are also written on red rice paper and are called ‘chun-lian”(春联，red couplets).
“HuiChun”（挥春,writing red couplets） is a Chinese tradition during Lunar New Year. There are many writing styles of calligraphy.
One way is to write a single Chinese character (i.e.春，spring)or two Chinese characters(i.e.吉祥，auspicious).
Chinese calligraphy can be written on a pair of red couplets
