"Art holds the power to heal, inspire, and transform - not only in its creation but in the experience of it."

My Artist Philosophy

Creating is my meditation and an internal journey. My artwork often begins as a maze of dissecting lines, deconstructing subjects into essential shapes. Through shadow, colour, and light, these fragments, or puzzle pieces, are woven back together - transforming chaos into clarity, fragmentation into wholeness.

For me, this process reflects the emotional journey of life.

I become totally immersed in my work, with the freedom to create just for me. This provides space for a vulnerability that brings each piece to life.

By sharing my work, I hope to elicit a similar response in you - that you may find a meditative peace and become absorbed in my creations too.

My style

I give myself permission to explore anything and everything, switching mediums depending on my mood or inspiration.

My work spans:

  • Portraits, figurative and gesture sketching

  • Florals, pets and wildlife

  • Landscapes and urban sketching

  • Abstract

  • Mixed media and collage

  • Art journalling, written word and doodling

  • Sculpture and conceptual art

  • Photography

  • And even dressmaking and cake decorating.

I truly believe if it’s calling you to create it, you should listen!
